Refund & Return Policy

If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we're here to help.

To qualify for an exchange, refund or credit, any defects with item must be reported strictly within 7 days from shipped date. Kindly e-mail us with pictures of the defective item if applicable. 

1. For items that are deemed defective by YUAN ARTISAN ENTERPRISE, we will exchange for the same item if we have them in stock, or a full refund if that particular item is out of stock.

2. In the event that returned items are deemed not defective by YUAN ARTISAN ENTERPRISE, a credit note equal to the value of the item will be issued to the customer. Postage costs will not be reimbursed.

3. We do not entertain requests for exchange of sizes/colours, you may reach out to us via instagram @yuanartisan or email yuanartisan@gmail.com for sizing advice before placing an order.

4. Please be informed that exchanges will be done as long as item is still in stock; refunds will only be done in the event that item is out of stock on the site. 

5. Sale item(s)/ items bought with promo code/flash sale discounts are not eligible for returns/exchanges or issue of credit note(s).

6. Paid orders are not eligible for cash refunds. If you wish to back out of a paid order that has yet to be fulfilled, refunds will only be issued in the form of store credits.

7. International orders are only eligible for returns, not exchanges. Upon receipt of return, a store credit with 3 months validity period will be issued to the account. Balance credit that is not used/expired will not be refunded back to your account. 

All apparels are to be returned to YUAN ARTISAN via registered post. If the customer opts to use normal mail and the returned item does not arrive, no credit note/refunds will be given. There will be no option for self-collection.

For local (Malaysia) orders: You have 7 working days to return an item from the date you received it.

For international orders, your returns must reach us within 30 days from the shipped date/collection.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be a defected item, unused, unwashed, and in the same condition that you received it (with label tags). Your item must be in the original packaging.

Please note that loose threads, small specks on apparels, stains on non-visible areas (i.e. lining/ inner part of apparel) that do not affect overall appearance and condition of sale items are not considered defects. Manufacturing inconsistencies of 0.5" difference in our given measurements are also not considered a defect

Once we received your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item.

If your refund is approved, we will issue you store credits with 3 months validity period. Balance credit that is not used/expired will not be refunded back to your account. 

Delivery fees will not be refunded.

If the return item does not fulfil return conditions, only partial store credits will be issued.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
